“Health is Wealth”


Do you tend to spend alot of time and effort growing your savings/wealth, not so much time financial planning for retirement and estate planning, and even less time on Healthy Lifestyle planning?


“Health is Wealth”, now I agree even more! Yes, it is time I get rewarded for staying Healthy.


I bought a DBS/Manulife Endowment Plan more than a year ago. Early this year, I didn't know “staying healthy” with Manulife Move App will reward me with a maximum of $50 cashback every 6mths. A form of rebate for premiums paid? A form of side hustle? Whatever it is, I am turning “Health into Wealth”! Not to forget it helped me get more Multiplier bonus interest! (tho I did regret buying the plan afterwards, not now that interest rates had dropped across the board!). I just received the cheque of $50 and striving hard to get the next $50. Not to forget the other less attractive vouchers I can earn from my other insurers' healthy lifestyle apps.


A small but definitely useful contribution to my cashflows.


Now I am working very hard to hit the minimum steps count to get my next $50, less than 40 days left!

NTUC Fairprice Shares pays 5% dividend!

Yesterday I received the NTUC Fairprice Co-operative's dividend and rebate statement for financial year ended March 31, 2008. I was surprised to receive so much money for this investment! I was holding more shares than I thought. I received 5% dividend and 4% in rebate, which had already been credited to my bank account on September 5, 2008.
